So there has been some shouting going on back and forth between PeSA and eBay. Yesterday PeSA releases their statement about eBay  and then eBay responds on the Ink Blog. So I just decide to answer a Twitter question about it on video.

THEN being the crazy ass nut I am, I decide to tell eBay some more stuff that I think is wrong…like I would know. So laugh with me, not at me…too much.

  • I'm with you John, eBay is there to bring me buyers! Cut straight to the chase, that's what it's all about.
  • I remember being in a meeting at ChannelAdvisor Catalyst when a seller told eBay...

"You want sellers to give a Tiffany experience for a Wal-Mart price"

Man is that ever so true, so true. I guess when you hit Diamond you get all listings for free right? LMAO

  • Im half way through an article on the same thing.

PESA complains in 2007 about how they need to create scaleable options for large sellers (favors, discounts etc for those who are top notch) ...and then 2008 they get their wishes and are really upset.

I was thinking about joining, it seems like good networking, but their decision to allow anyone in who will pay $500 makes it not so attractable.

If their like many of the small and large guys having success with the changes it would be a different release. The arguments from the ones not having success are 95% of the sellers so things seem a bit worse than they really are.

Ebay wants TOPNOTCH sellers who ship same day, phone numbers and 200% customer experience 98% of the time not just ok sellers.

We hope to hit Diamond status in 3 months. Sales this month will qualify , should carry over with holidays and all :)
