As a long time auction attendee, its great to see the excitement as someone talks about their first auction. My Scores in the past for business.. 200 feet of wooden shelving units for $5.00 - 100 bags of peanuts for $10.00 - Plastic bags that I've been using now for 10 years $3.00 and one time I got a library (at least 10,000 books) for $10.00 Want to refurnish your entire house? Try a storage locker auction. They auction off entire contents. And if you are not buying for resale, or your business, I can tell you that it virtually almost always cheaper to buy antique furniture that is quality (not press board) at an auction vs. buying it new. You get a great piece of furniture, at a fraction of the cost of new, AND its 10 times the quality. My bedroom set has solid drawers (when is the last time you saw that in a new piece of furniture?)
