They've been doing that for a long time. The first few times it happened, I was alarmed, now I just blow it off. Can we just this company and put them out of our misery.
I got one of those in my first month on ebay. Scared me so bad and no one there could give me any answers....That was scarier yet. Live chat sent me on a goose chase for three days back & forth to security who can not give out any security info due to ebay policy. What a Rip!! My account was closed down and my customers were notified. Lost all my feedback and had to e mail customers and all my listings were pulled with no refund. Took a week to get settled.
Must have been thought up by a committee and approved after a Powerpoint presentation or three then vetted by the legal department before getting the implementation OK from a consultant.
