Hi, Green Spot here.

John, nice to see someone shake out the dust and put it straight. I’ve seen same thing lately, big price tags for wordpress blogs with a few little features.

Sorcerers at work, or leeches, take your pick.
Seems to me a wordpress blog, with bonanzle, ebay and other rss feeds in, and out, is actually child’s play in comparison to running real servers. Thanks for the statement about “10 minutes” as that is all it takes really. There are so many options available from a few $$ to a few Hundred $$. I can’t imagine $800 or so for any wp blog setup.

Have you seen the prices for ELGG and Joomla developers lately? that software is more complex and might even justify some costs, but WP, no way.

Yeah, I am sick of my readers being jerked around for hundreds and even thousands of dollar under the sway of the sooth-sayers. They add NO value to the install and take all your money.

My suggestion is to do the install in-house and THEN bring in the consultant IF you still need more customization. The product is professional right out of the box and it is FREE.

These guys suck ass, LMAO.

Wordpress is easy to set up and customize. Please don’t waste your money paying someone to do it!
