INSURANCE POLICY IS STUPID!!!
Once an item leaves my hands at the Post Office it is NO LONGER MY RESPONSIBILITY as I am not the guy moving/throwing/stepping on or dropping the package! I sell antiques via auction (not fixed price) & this is just plain stupid as I cannot add the insurance into the shipping rate if I have no idea what the item will close for & the shipping varies widely on anything over 1 lb so the rate would be overblown if it were to zone 7 as opposed to zone 1. It has NEVER been my responsibility "for their items until they arrive safely in their customers’ hands" as they clain...doing this over 10 years & never saw that little tid bit.

I hope enough sellers & buyers will protest this change as it will result in higher shipping fees overall! It's bad enough they're sucking an additional 3 to 5% (overseas transactions are 5%) out of me by FORCING me to take PayPal...which (FYI) they own & MAKE MORE OFF OF THAT EBAY ITSELF, but this insurance crap is beyond & I will NOT change my policy!!!

A pleasant enough surprise that we're considering switching to selling on ebay.COM to get these benefits. A decided push to retain small to medium sized sellers here.
NOT available to eby.CA yet.... Man we always get short end of stick up here.

It's weird to find out that OUR actions will be somewhat rewarded under the NEW ebay policies. Especially when we would behave the same whether ebay rewarded it or not, but now we could be a 'better' ebay seller without lifting a finger.

Cool.

So will we be able to see the DSR's a buyer gives us? Can these be reversed if we work with an angry buyer?

There's a whole lot of reading, but not a whole lot of response needed. No complaints here, seems like they've polished up the last round of changes, perhaps corrected the main complaints against DSRs.
