Kindly excuse some of my words in this video. I just felt it might give you a lasting impression if I use such words in order to put emphasis on my stand about excuses. I am not to take my word away though— I am keeping my stand— excuses are bullshit!

Don’t ever mistake excuses for reasons. They are totally from two different planets. Excuses, however, are also reasons in some way; only they are to be considered as made up reasons. They are no good and will not help you in any way.

Excuses only keeps you from being all that you should be and you could be. Therefore, don’t let anyone influence you in such a kind of thinking. You are made to make the most of what you have. You are made to be perfect. Finally, never think of yourself as a failure; thinking in such a way will only pull you away from the success that you are aiming for— and that’s when you become a failure.

In business context, this applies to those people who are afraid to give their all thus keeping them from making it big in their respective industries. These are the same people who dream a  lot, even hire consultants and are afraid to make their own decisions, hence the excuses. This kind of work attitude will take them nowhere. The best thing to do is to take risks by keeping excuses at bay. Remember, a ship at shore will remain safe no matter what, but won’t get anywhere, as well.
