If you think about it, we were suppose to have robots doing all the house work by now. Where is Rosie? You know the robotic maid from the Jetsons?
The actual skills involved with balance and propulsion have bee hard to tackle in robotics. The use of wheels has some limitations and feet are just better.
But if you look at what we have today in technology, we would be hard pressed to find a walking upright robot. Sure there have been a few, but NOW they got one that can run. Check out this cool ass video, dude this one rocks!
cool stuff....but it makes me think more of the Will Smith movie, I Robot. Having a Jetsons type robot would be cool but you know someone would find a way to screw it up....lol
