If you think about it, we were suppose to have robots doing all the house work by now. Where is Rosie? You know the robotic maid from the Jetsons?
The actual skills involved with balance and propulsion have bee hard to tackle in robotics. The use of wheels has some limitations and feet are just better.
But if you look at what we have today in technology, we would be hard pressed to find a walking upright robot. Sure there have been a few, but NOW they got one that can run. Check out this cool ass video, dude this one rocks!

I saw this story on NPR and it really is kinda odd. For a psychological study, there is something to be said about this.
If you’ve ever thought of money as a drug, you may be more right than you know. New research shows that counting money — just handling the bills — can make things less painful.
The experiments were conducted by a colleague of Vohs’ in China. Students came into the lab and were told they would be participating in a test of finger dexterity. One group was given a pile of Chinese currency to count. Another group was given blank pieces of paper to count.
Then, some of the students were asked to put their fingers in bowls of water heated to 122 degrees Fahrenheit and rate how uncomfortable it felt.
"The subjects who had earlier been counting money and had their hands in the painfully hot water reported that the water didn’t feel so hot to them, compared to people who had counted slips of paper," Vohs says.
How hot is 122 degrees Fahrenheit? Not hot enough to do lasting damage, but hotter than the Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends setting your home water heater.

Last week during the Twitter outage, PeSA(Professional eBay Sellers Association) and eCommerce Merchants conducted an eBay Community Webinar. Since the Twitter communication network was spotty, at best, many of you may have missed this informative session.
This webinar focused on a frank a forthright discussion between the community and the folks behind the changes that have been recently announced, which are scheduled to begin rolling out in October on eBay.
As always, this webinar connect the eBay community directly with the key eBay executive decision makers, policy and project architects involved. The latest eBay change announcements bring with them a tide of speculation and mixed reactions from the community.
Do not miss this crucial opportunity to listen to the replay and Q&A session where sellers ask the team of eBay executives some good question. The sellers hit points that could impact for your business specifically
You can see the eBay Changes recap from Sarah Brubacher, in the first part of this video, or you can skip to the Q&A which starts about 47 minutes into the video.
Keyword research is normally associated with SEO (Search engine optimization), the process of improving ranking in search results. We are tasked with the importance of making sure we have keyword rich titles, tags and descriptions in our text body. But keywords are the very basis of your entire online marketing strategy and should not just be limited to your store titles and descriptions.
When putting the actual structure of your ecommerce site together, you need to be thinking about your category structures. Which keyword is best to use for that? Doing due diligence in these areas pay off in huge traffic gains long term for ecommerce sites.
Let’s say you posses a shoe site and sell athletic shoes. How would you name the category? You might have to choose between “athletic shoes,” “runners,” “running shoes,” “trainers” and “sneakers.” Which term works best? Let’s take a look on Google Trends
At first glance you would assume that "Trainers" was the best term BUT that word has multiple meaning. Trainer could be the guy at the gym or any other person that trains in a field (i.e. dog trainer), so you must account for these types of dual use words.
But overall, let’s say you were thinking of going with "Athletic Shoes" for your preferred category name. After looking at this comparative data, we now see that "athletic shoes" is not as popular as "running shoes" and both running and athletic are MUCH less popular that the common term "Sneakers".
Using the consumers-preferred term "SNEAKERS" for your category label would possible yield more views in search for you and your store. You want to have the terms that customers search for the most to increase mass traffic.
You get the bump in traffic, but you also get a more "customer friendly" usability bump as well. If the customer is looking for sneakers and does NOT see that term, they have to reset their brain to the other words of "athletic shoe" or "running shoe" to find the SNEAKERS they were actually looking for.

This is a very brief video that I made to highlight an important movement in Marketing— that of the shift from intrusion to engagement as a way to convey a business entity’s message over to its prospects.
INTERRUPT PEOPLE versus ENGAGE PEOPLE
Marketing has been a constantly changing strategic means of reaching out to people and possible customers. For years, marketing has been following the old bratty way of selling itself— by interrupting people and getting their attention through considerably irritating means (read: constant telemarketing calls from businesses offering products you don’t really need). Well, that was before; now an instant shift from this technique to a better one, which is to engage people through means that will attract and KEEP their attention, is already noticeable. This is the same thing that is currently happening within the social media space, where people and prospects are ‘befriended’, so as to convince them to support a business’ message.
MY FIRST RECOMMENDATION
I have been a fair critic on most of my videos and probably, this will be the first time you’ll hear me say; “That’s a fantastic idea!” I have not directly said it in the video, but I tell you now, I strongly recommend that you join this bandwagon of marketers shifting from interrupting to engaging people in order for their messages to be successfully sent out.
This video is about streams. Sounds nuts? Well, you got to play it once or twice in order to squeeze the juice out of it. It is one of those videos inspired by a natural occurrence which appears to be a perfect representation of the do’s and don’ts in business. This one is about a stream in my property; a stream from which a big river acquires benefits from.
MY STREAM
Who would want to claim ownership of a stream that does not really give direct profits? — Probably no one. Well, that is an exaggeration, because I do. After some time, I’ve finally come to realize how this stream feeds a big river in our locality. Then, I’ve come to a turning point— a business lesson learned from it.
LESSON IN BUSINESS— MULTIPLE STREAMS OF INCOME
The key to making it big in any life endeavor is consistency. In business context, this equates to a constant source of income. How can this be achieved? – Simply by keeping multiple sources of income. Similar to what the streams do, sources of income need not be superb money makers; they can supply relatively small profitable amounts just like what a stream does for a mother river. Needless to say, all that is needed is to have at least most of them function to keep the profits flowing. Lesson learned? Have several good items in your business network to work for you. This way, even if a beaver ‘infects’ a stream or a source, operations won’t be hampered and income will still be available for use.
WHAT TO DO?
I can’t tell you what to do. Just try to see things in a different perspective. Will you rather have a huge source of income that can fluctuate anytime or various sources that can support each other during rough times? I’ll leave this for you to answer. Just keep in mind, however, that multiple streams of income simply read stability.
