It is with great excitement that we announce our plans to take eCommerce Merchants local to a neighborhood near you in 2010 with the launch of eCommerce Merchants Local Chapters.
With over 5 years of successfully developing the most vibrant community of online merchants sharing best practices and educating "By sellers for sellers" we believe going local will deliver additional value for our members developing a network with other online merchants in your area and discussing the latest strategies.
We are currently seeking members who wish to help us get eCommerce Merchants Local off the ground in their area. If you would like to help coordinate the first meeting in your area, please contact Brandon at Brandon@ecmta.org for more details.

While making his treks across the country, I got a few minuets with Chris Brogan to talk about what is going on with social media, his new book "Trust Agents" and I get to explain what is ColderICE, LOL.
Also in this video my good friend and mentor Brent Leary makes a guest appearance. This was a blast and it is a must listen for anyone into this medium of social marketing, networking and media. Thank Chris for taking the time with me…Too cold, too cold!
Monday was cold and sorta ugly in Atlanta, but that did not stop eBay from setting up camp in my city. Now you know I would not want eBay to come to town and me not greet them, so I grabbed the camera and headed downtown.
The eBay Mobile Boutique was very high-tech looking with all the cool screens and touch PC monitors. They had dozens of items on display and there was NO SELLING. But the agents were introducing or re-introducing the public to eBay.com
I will give you 3 guesses for what was by FAR he hottest topic at StomperNET Live this weekend in Atlanta?
Come on, you know it HAD to be Social Media right? Of course it was. Here is my quick update from the floor on what the hype is all about. And do not forget that on MONDAY Night at 8:00 pm I will be presenting on this same topic LIVE…More details to come soon!
Man, last night was the ultimate Janet show for me, so here it is in pictures…
While the crowd was filing in I grabbed this video. If you have never been to Philips Arena here in Atlanta, the design is awesome. They space it is in was the same space that had the old arena that only held 12,000.
This spot is locked in on all sides by the CNN center on one side, the Georgia World Congress Center on another and the Georgia Dome on that 3rd side and a major street on the forth. This was a MAJOR challenge to the builders was how to fit a bigger arena in the same space as a much smaller one. The solution? Dig down deeper so you can go up higher AND put all the skyboxes on 1 side of the arena and not all the way around. This makes for a stunning visual and now the arena holds 27,000…pretty incredible.
My seats were PRIMO! I was like right up front to the stage and it really was an experience that I will not forget. Now this is like my 4th Janet show and she brought it this time. She did just about every song she ever made INCLUDING ones from the real first Janet album she did at 15!
The photos I got are pretty awesome!
And NOW for a very limited few hours, I want to share with you the "my golden moment video" You know I can only keep this part up for short time, but check it OUT!!!
The crowd and music was so freaking loud, that you need to make sure the video volume is NOT at the top or you get nothing but distortion. What you do is put the video volume (in the vid window toolbar) about 30-50% and then turn up the master volume and you can hear the opening 3 numbers.
Now if you have a strong stomach and do not get vertigo from me dancing and holding the camera (LMAO) I present Ms. Jackson (cause I am nasty)…ENJOY!
