<p>Newspapers are NOT a sustainable product so I am not a fan of<strong> &quot;reading the rainforest&quot;</strong> every morning with coffee. So the question becomes, how many trees does it take to print a newspaper?</p>
<p><em><strong>A: It really all depends on the size of the tree. According to paper manufacturer Boise Cascade, however, a cord of wood (wood stacked 4 feet by 4 feet by 8 feet, or 128 cubic feet) produces nearly 90,000 sheets of paper or 2,700 copies of a 35-page newspaper!</strong></em></p>
<p>While the transition from paper deliver to electronic deliver will bring some short term sacrifice and of course job loss, I am confident that Journalism will prevail and good writers will ALWAYS be in demand.</p>
